What this site is

kookyi.com presents Kookyi, an independent entertainment studio, and Blood & Veil, its first original series. The interactive preview on the home page is a concept build: it shows the direction of the platform we are making. Its interface, catalogue and features will change, and nothing in it is a promise that a feature will ship in that form.

What does not exist yet

• There are no viewer accounts and nothing to subscribe to.
• We take no payments through this site.
• No episode has been released. Dates on this site are intentions, not commitments.
• Classification, cast and credits are announced only when confirmed.

Using the site

You may read, link to and share this site freely. You may not use it to break the law, attempt to gain access to parts of it that are not public, interfere with it or the people using it, or scrape it at a scale that degrades it for others. We may withdraw access from anyone doing those things.

What you send us

Creator submissions

The creators form collects interest. It is not an upload, we are not accepting finished work through it, and sending it does not create any agreement between us. You keep every right in your project. We claim no licence over anything you describe to us, we are not obliged to reply, and we may be developing or considering projects that resemble yours. If we want to take it further we will say so in writing, and anything real will be a separate signed agreement.

Everything else you send

Do not send us confidential information through these forms. Treat anything you submit as something we may read, store and act on in the ordinary course of answering you.

Investor information

The investors page exists to start conversations. It is not an offer to sell, nor a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, and nothing on it is investment, legal, tax or financial advice. Any figures, plans or projections are forward-looking: they describe what we intend, they depend on things outside our control, and they may turn out wrong. Any actual investment would be made only through formal documents, to eligible investors, under the law that applies to them.

Our material

The Kookyi name and mark, the Blood & Veil name, logo, artwork, footage, scripts and the design of this site belong to Kookyi or its licensors. You may not reproduce or adapt them except as ordinary linking, quotation and commentary allow. Press and media: write to press@kookyi.com and we will send you assets you are free to use.

Other people’s sites

Where we link to somewhere else — a crowdfunding page, a social account, a video host — that site is theirs, not ours. Their terms and their privacy practices apply, and we are not responsible for what they do.

No warranty, and the limit of our liability

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not warrant that anything on it is complete or current. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may change these terms as the project develops. The date at the top tells you when they last changed, and using the site after that means you accept the current version.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting consumer rights you have where you live.
